We’re hiring a Manufacturing Material Handler for our client! We are looking for dependable, safety-focused warehouse professionals with forklift experience who are ready to interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Manufacturing Material Handler
Pay: $15.00–$16.00/hr
Location: Northwest Houston, TX 77055
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (Fridays and overtime as needed based on business demands)
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Description of Duties:
- Provide material handling and logistical support for manufacturing operations.
- Safely move, stage, and track inventory throughout the facility.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to transport materials between departments.
- Use handheld scanners to accurately record inventory movements.
- Verify materials against work orders and packing lists.
- Maintain equipment and material movement logs.
- Report inventory discrepancies to department leads.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift operating experience required.
- Must successfully pass a forklift driving test before starting.
- Reach truck experience strongly preferred.
- Regularly lift 35–50 lbs.
- Occasionally carry up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime as business needs require.
