We’re hiring an experienced CNC Programmer Machinist in Northeast Houston!

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on machinist who can independently set up, operate, program, and troubleshoot CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment.

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

Job Title: CNC Programmer Machinist
Location: Northeast Houston, TX
Pay: $30–$35/hour, DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Duties: Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, primarily HAAS equipment. Make program adjustments and troubleshoot G-code as needed. Select tooling and determine machining settings to achieve accurate results. Work from detailed blueprints and engineering drawings to produce precision parts. Inspect finished components and verify measurements meet specifications. Identify and resolve machining issues involving tooling, alignment, vibration, and quality. Recommend improvements to machining methods, production efficiency, and material usage. Assist with developing processes and supporting less-experienced machinists.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience. Strong background in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Ability to read, edit, and write G-code. Experience with CNC turning and milling operations. Solid understanding of machining tools, materials, feeds, and speeds. Ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, and tight tolerances. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude and independent problem-solving skills. HAAS and Fanuc control experience preferred.
