We’re hiring a Laboratory Data Entry / Accessioning Clerk for our Houston, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Laboratory Data Entry / Accessioning Clerk
• Location: Southwest Houston
• Pay: $15.00/hour
• Hours: 1st and 2nd shift available
• Duration: Temp-to-Hire

• Description of Duties:

– Prepare laboratory materials and assist with workflow support, including processing documentation, organizing case materials, and coordinating sample handling activities.
– Perform high-volume data entry, scanning, record uploads, and quality checks to maintain accurate patient and laboratory information.
– Receive, log, and track laboratory specimens using internal systems and computer software while ensuring accurate documentation and organization.
– Maintain inventory, support special projects, communicate with laboratory staff and clients regarding missing information, and help ensure a clean and compliant work environment.

• Requirements:
– High school diploma or GED required
– Associate degree in a science or healthcare-related field strongly preferred
– Previous laboratory, medical office, specimen processing, or data entry experience preferred
– Strong computer and typing skills with accuracy and attention to detail
– Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work in a fast-paced environment
– Familiarity with medical terminology or medical assistant certification is a plus
