We’re hiring Structural Fitters for our Brookshire, TX client!

We are looking for experienced Structural Fitters who can interview and start immediately!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Structural Fitter
• Location: Brookshire, TX
• Pay: Starting at $18/hr. and up (based on experience and test results)
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday with availability to work Saturday as needed
• Duration: Temp-to-Hire
• Description of Duties: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to fit and assemble structural steel components. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts using precision measuring tools including calipers, rulers, and squares. Cut, contour, bevel, burn, measure, and tack weld metal plates and structural shapes to required specifications. Verify dimensions, grooves, angles, and gap allowances to ensure quality standards are met. Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely throughout the shop. Follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work environment, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Requirements: Minimum 3 years of structural fitting experience with the ability to perform advanced fitting duties with minimal supervision. Must be able to successfully complete required fitting tests. Strong blueprint reading and material identification skills required. Experience using precision measuring tools and fitting structural steel assemblies. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all company safety procedures. Strong verbal communication skills and reliability are required.
