DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Forklift Operator – Pipe, Valves & Fittings (PVF)
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
Hours: 7:00 AM–approximately 5:00 PM; up to six days per week, and overtime is required
Duration: Contract to Hire
Description of Duties: Operate a sit-down forklift to safely load, unload, and move long, heavy, or irregularly shaped pipe, valves, and fittings without damaging the material. Accurately pull and stage orders using pick tickets, ensuring the correct sizes, schedules, and pressure ratings are selected. Conduct cycle counts of pipe lengths, valves, and fittings using RF scanners and warehouse management software.
Requirements: Previous sit-down forklift experience is required. Pipe, valves, and fittings experience is strongly preferred. Must be able to work overtime and up to six days per week. Steel-toe footwear is required. The client will provide a safety vest and hard hat.
