We’re hiring an experienced Sandblaster for our Northwest Houston-area client!
We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused candidate with production-shop and walk-in booth sandblasting experience who is ready to interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Sandblaster
Location: Northwest Houston
Pay: $19–$22/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; overtime and weekends as needed
Duration: Temp to Hire
Description of Duties:
Perform sandblasting operations inside a walk-in blast booth in a production-based shop. Prepare and blast components according to work instructions; operate overhead cranes to move and position materials; read blueprints; use a standard tape measure throughout the workday; inspect completed work for quality; meet production demands; and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Requirements:
Stable employment history with no significant unexplained gaps or frequent job changes
Previous experience working in a production-based shop is required
Previous sandblasting experience in a walk-in booth is required
Experience operating overhead cranes
Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions
Ability to accurately read and use a standard tape measure is required
Experience reading and using a pipe tape is preferred but not required
Strong safety awareness and ability to work around industrial equipment
Highly motivated, dependable, and able to adapt to changing production demands
Willing and available to work overtime with short notice
Available to work weekends when production schedules require it
