We’re hiring a Manufacturing Material Handler for our client! We are looking for dependable, safety-focused warehouse professionals with forklift experience who are ready to interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Manufacturing Material Handler
Pay: $15.00–$16.00/hour
Location: Northwest
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (Fridays and overtime as needed based on business demands)
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Description of Duties: Provide material handling and logistical support to manufacturing operations by safely moving, staging, and tracking inventory throughout the facility. Operate forklifts and reach trucks to transfer materials between departments, use handheld scanners to accurately record physical and electronic inventory movements, and verify materials against work orders and packing lists. Maintain equipment and material movement logs, communicate inventory discrepancies to department leads, and support continuous improvement efforts while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required with previous warehouse, manufacturing, receiving, or material handling experience preferred. Candidates must have forklift operating experience and successfully pass a forklift driving test before beginning the assignment. Reach truck experience is strongly preferred. Must have basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately manage inventory and material movements. Candidates must demonstrate a reliable work history, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently. Must be able to stand throughout the shift, regularly lift 35–50 pounds, occasionally carry up to 60 pounds, and work overtime as business needs require.
