We’re hiring an I&E Technician III for our East Houston area client! We are looking for an experienced, dependable technician who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: I&E Technician III
- Location: East Houston area, TX
- Pay: $22.00–$27.00/hour DOE
- Hours: Day Shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Duration: Temp-to-Hire
- Description of Duties: Assemble and install instrumentation and electrical systems on industrial equipment and skid packages. Install and bend stainless steel tubing and conduit, wire control panels, perform point-to-point testing, troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, and complete final inspections and testing. Read blueprints, P&IDs, and electrical schematics while ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of industrial instrumentation and electrical experience. Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and electrical drawings. Experience with tubing installation, conduit bending, panel wiring, multimeters, HART communicators, PLC-controlled systems, and instrument testing. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) preferred. PLC programming experience and technical or vocational training are a plus. Must be able to work safely in a fabrication shop environment and lift up to 45 lbs.
